About Cross Cottage
An upside down house . Upstairs Lounge/Diner.Fitted kitchen with
dining area and French
windows with a Juliet Balcony ( ie for view not sitting on ).
Stairs (with oak handrails ) to first floor landing. The whole is
intended to be light and airy but as energy efficient as possible. In
the lounge there is a comfy sofa that also folds out into a double bed
if friends want to stay or a family with small people (ie.
children
). . ..a
decent sized TV/DVD/ both with freesat. The 60's fire is original
but if smaller children are present I recomend to use
the convection part only or rely on the heating system for safety
as 1960's safety is not present day ultra safe. I can of course alter
this if requested in advance and add a child friendly fire. Upstairs a
safe pair of skylights and opening window plus the full length Juliet
balcony/French windows for glorious summer evenings.
Plenty of games etc in the cupbards for grownups and a box of
tiddler toys too if
needed. The house is carpeted throughout for warmth and comfort with
oak floors and natural oak doors in other areas. The top of the stairs
is glassed over as a coffee drinks area or just safer for
tiddlers.
view from Juliet balcony/window. . sorry yet to be refurbished
nice of the valley concrete lumps horrid
